Dr. Heather Morton is comfortable seeing a wide range of conditions both as a solo provider and in conjunction with outside specialists when necessary. As an advanced student clinician, she completed a year-long rotation in mind-body medicine, providing direct clinical knowledge of how the this connection can have a significant impact on all aspects of health. Tools for stress management as well as individualized dietary recommendations and exercise prescriptions are present on every treatment plan. Dr. Heather Morton is also a lover of herbal medicine and enjoys discussing how we can use all those “weeds” growing outside to nourish and benefit for essentially no cost! Heather is comfortable managing common pharmaceutical interventions, reviews medical research daily, and is committed to remaining current with the latest health interventions and standards of care.
Dr. Heather Morton received her undergraduate degree in business administration from Western Washington University in 2000. She spent nearly a decade working in the financial industry in New York City and Seattle. It was during these years she discovered yoga and Ayurveda, the catalyst for her studies of naturopathic medicine. Heather has been teaching yoga classes in the area since 2009. Most of her free time is spent outdoors enjoying the bounty of nature the pacific northwest offers. You may find her hiking the coast, competing in a sprint triathlon or skiing the slopes at Stevens Pass. She is a 5th generation resident of Kitsap County and is passionate about the health of its residents.
